Here are some of the steps I've taken to get the game to run OBSE. My mods consist of Darnified UI, Unofficial Oblivion Patch, Unofficial Shivering Isles Patch, Oblivion XP Update (Which keeps saying I either don't have the most recent version of OBSE, or I don't have OBSE at all), MenuQue - OBSE Plugin, Oblivion Enhanced Camera, Oblivion Character Overhaul Version 2, Blockhead, and OBSE Tester (Which also says that OBSE is not running and advises me to either install it correctly or run the loader despite me using the steam version).Īll of these mods, with the exception of OBSE, are installed through MO2. In my Oblivion folder I have inserted the Data folder from the OBSE zip, obse_steam_loader.dll, obse_1_2_416.dll, obse_editor_1_2.dll, and obse_loader.exe for good measure. Steam and Oblivion are set to run as administrator.ĭespite using the steam version of the game, I have tried running the Loader.Exe, to no avail. I launch the game through MO 2 using Oblivion.exe. I'm using the steam version of Oblivion with the latest version of OBSE, which I've downloaded from both silverlock, and nexusmods, both manually and through Mod Organizer.
No log file is created when I run the game. The issue I always run into, through install after install, is that I can't get OBSE to run. I've taken yet another crack at modding Oblivion.
